Not at all. Rather, all the GOPe were touting the meme that Trump had "slipped" (he did in one poll, surged in post-debate "non-scientific" polls---that is, any poll the drive-bys don't want to count). But now he has gained in two more recent polls and his lead is back where it was.

In the meantime, he posted a huge lead in NH (post debate). If Carson and Fiorina were going to show something, it would have been there.

By the way, good analysis. The state-run media is doing everything they can to destroy Trump. He resonates with the grassroots, and the leftists cannot abide that. They destroy anyone with grassroots appeal.

But they especially hate him because he is moving the debate to what used to be considered mainstream American thought (pro business, pro national security, pro border control, pro American culture). The left has successfully destroyed all those basic American traditions by casting them as extreme.

Trump is single-handedly shifting the debate back to what used to be the center, and they hate him for that.
