Carly Fiorina served as the CEO of Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2005.
During that period, the enormous dot.com/high-tech bubble that had been building up for years burst, and Silicon Valley along with the country went into a deep recession.
ALL companies like Hewlett-Packard had to lay off numerous workers, and had to watch their balance sheets and earnings go south; and many did not survive.
Under Carly Fiorina, Hewlett-Packard emerged as well as or better than most other high-tech companies. If she had not done a good job of bringing the company back from the 2000 recession, she would not have lasted as CEO for six years.
Meanwhile, four of Donald Trump’s companies went bankrupt; and as a daily purveyor of what most Americans would consider hate speech against women, immigrants, Hispanics, Mexico, and China, he has no realistic prospect of being elected president of the United States.
Another Republican front-runner, Ben Carson, also cannot win the presidency since he’s stated that he would not have gone to war in Afghanistan after 9/11, which is so exceptionally pacifistic even Barack Obama supported the Afghan War.
So that leaves Carly Fiorina. As a woman, she can beat the Democrats; as an excellent public speaker, she can seriously outclass Hillary or Joe Biden in the 2016 Presidential Debates; and if she chooses a vice-presidential candidate like John Kasich who can win the all-important swing state of Ohio, she can win the presidency.
Fortunately, most Americans are not like the predominantly left-wing Californians who have destroyed their state by choosing public officials like Barbara Boxer.
There is genuine hope for the election of a Republican president IF Carly Fiorina become the nominee. Otherwise, it will be eight long years of Hillary or Joe and no hope for America.
