That appears to be the best outcome at present. A Constitutional anchor for Trump, whose instincts appear good in general but he’s not strong on specifics. Cruz shines there, but has not shone on the campaign trail for whatever reason, remaining mired in mid-pack. We could do far worse than pairing the natural star who is right on quite a few of the issues and problems of the day, with Cruz to provide Constitutional grounding and expertise in dealing with Congress.
