True, but at least he’s a responsible parent. If I didn’t have enough money, I would rob banks as needed to pay to send my kids to private school before sending them to a government school these days.
Yup. The children of the ruling class elite cannot attend school with the lower classes. They might pickup bad manners, bad spelling or cooties or sumthing.
The issue is that Democrats want school choice for anyone who can afford it including themselves. But they want to force your tax money to go only to the schools which they themselves think provide a worse education. You have no choice to shift those tax dollars away to the private school of your choice.
