I fail to see how $300,000 could ever be an appropriate bail amount for a Saudi prince accused of rape. $30,000 is pocket change for a guy like that.
Some bail bondsman will be out a chunk of change. My guess is that the guy had to go the whole bail. Anyway it was just a cultural thing.
