I hope not. Only if they want to damage their own careers- their election would be months away. in this climate of disgust with RINOs and people loving Trump’s plans for illegals, they’d be committing political suicide.

If they time it before the summer recess (and after almost all of them have gone through the primary process), I'm sure most would have extreme confidence that they can do whatever the heck they want before the election and still win. What are you going to do? Vote for the opposing party? Waste your vote on a third party candidate?

Just how all the cards seem to be laying out this time, this, to me, seems like the GOPe’s last gambit if they can't get a cheap labor express candidate in on the nomination.
