So let me get this straight... WHY is TRUMP surging in the POLLS if he is in fact NOT the CONSERVATIVE but more like Romney???
We have a TRUE CONSERVATIVE that needs pushed on up in the polls (GO TED CRUZ GO) and we are continually rallying around TRUMP..and leaving TED in the dust...
Doesn’t make sense to me, but maybe my brain is too simple to understand this all...
Trump has huge name recognition.
Trump is a businessman (which is a good thing imho).
Trump is a billionaire.
Trump has lots of sound bites that resonate with people sick of the status quo.
I would vote for Trump over a democrat, but I am donating money to Cruz and pray that he will get the nomination. But, the polls sure don't look good.
I've heard people say that Cruz is “weak”, or “too polite”. I think he what he does is use a debating style - where you aren't just arguing with someone (such as Trump's one-liners), but where he presents a reasoned argument. Of course that takes a bit longer, and doesn't get the press.
Here is a video from yesterday where Cruz is chastising Pelosi with her no vote on some measure regarding human rights in China. (I think it was something symbolic - like changing the name of a road to honor a human-rights prisoner in China).

While last GOP debate still ongoing at Fox Business I went to DrudgeReport, in the poll it said he was the winner, Oh well I went to vote for him, too. We've seen the almost 8 years of the shi'ite guy and I hope he'll make America great again! :-)
