If a civil war broke out right now in the US, who do you think would win? Obama and Goldman Sachs and the NWO, or American citizens who have no entree to the resources of the entire planet? Remember what Shelby Foote said about one arm, and the other arm. Now we are talking about an army of vampire squids. There is no shortage of arms. Or suckers.
It is a bad thing. Look at what happens when a civil war starts in a modern state.
The Finnish civil resulted in a 10% population reduction. Syria is pretty much done, and the Balkans have yet to recover.
It would be the end of the USA no matter who won, and massive deaths on both sides. No to mention that power, water, and food distribution would end for much of the population.
It would not be fun. To many have visions of Red Dawn, and not reality. This goes for both sides.
