Trump is far and away the best candidate in many seasons. For nickels and dimes he is pummeling others who are spending tens of millions on failing campaigns.
All we really know is that he is making all the right moves. His positions on immigration, 2nd amendment, taxes and abortion are vigorously conservative. He takes no prisoners. He does not lie down when attacked. What’s not to like?

Mainly his past record of kowtowing to much of the leftist party line and financially supporting their candidates.
I realize he is in New York and some of this might be necessary to do business, but he's gone above and beyond. Like Mitt Romney, he talks a good game but his actual record is less than stellar. As I said, he isn't the best we've got, but he could be the best we deserve at this point.
