However, a 110-volt clock from the same 15-year timeframe is not “the same model” as a 12-volt clock, even if they are manufactured by the same company.

And clocks from that time (and later) are a dime a dozen at thrift shops, which are full of old electronics.

BTW the cops say the photo does not completely resemble ahmed's device but they cannot release photos or records of the interview that led to his arrest without family permission, The family has yet to pick up the device.
