What did Rubio say (or do) to set Trump off like this? Must be something.
Trump’s mask was pulled off a bit when he answered a question he didn’t even understand in the debate about a vote in the Senate on Syria where they didn’t go along with Obama’s plan and said Rubio and the other Senators on the stage should have supported it and did not even have the basic details to back up what he was saying - he was just spitting into the wind hoping it would sound good. Rubio’s follow-up made him look absurd, though Rubio did not attack Trump he just defended the position he took at the time. That’s what upsets Trump.
And Trump is calling Rubio a “kid” when he’s about the same age as his wife and exactly the same age as Ted Cruz, who he has praised.
