The guy doesn’t have a PhD. . .and a “Senior Lecturer” at a university without a PhD is quite unheard of. . .unless you have the proper political, sexual, activist bent. . .

Senior Lecturers without a Ph.D. are not unheard of if the lecturer is in a field, like journalism, where career experience can reasonably substitute for the advanced training required for a Ph.D. The guy has a masters degree and had a 30-year career in journalism. The business school at the local state university hires retired business execs all the time as lecturers (some with the title senior or executive lecturer) to teach courses related to their business experience. My point was that he is almost surely not highly paid and most likely does not have tenure.

he's probably adjunct..."lecturer" is what Obama was @ Chi - he likes to say "full professor", but he was a lecturer, likely signed a contract semester by semester.
You're right tho....if he's on staff but has no doctorate, it's uncommon at a university.
