The National Park Service announced Monday that the use of electronic cigarettes is now banned anywhere tobacco smoking is prohibited in the national parks.
Existing National Park Service policies regarding tobacco smoking were originally issued in 2003 and later revised in 2009, according to a National Park Service internal memo. The new policy was issued in an effort to "protect employees and park visitors from the health hazards and annoyances associated with exposure to environmental tobacco smoke, commonly known as secondhand smoke, which is a known human carcinogen," the memo stated.
The use of e-cigarettes will not be allowed in any government owned or leased vehicle including heavy equipment, watercraft or aircraft in the park. Vaping will also be prohibited in national park concession facilities and other buildings.

This is just nutty.
Ecigs banned by the eNazis? Whoda think it.
“You remind me of that woman.”
Lol. Why? Because I remind you of your failure of testosterone for being afraid to light up anyway? Or is it that I remind you of what a wuss you are for your faI lure to tell her to shut up?
Which is it man? Why are you so afraid of the world?
“Than you support a bar being able to put a sign on the door saying We Allow Smoking in This Establishment?”
I support private property owners rights, so yes.
Light up. Make em kick you out.
“If smoking/vaping is not a manifestation of personal freedom, what would you call it?”
I call it “smoking”
“Let me change this sentence just a little”
Your example is perfect, but let’s change a few words, instead of “muslims” and “beheading” let’s say, hypothetically that I was talking about “smoking” what would you think about that?
No, I smoked my cigarette and an extra one just for her.
You seem to be the one on testosterone supplements mr keyboard kommando.
You must be an awesome engineer. The real “it looks good on paper type”.
Hurry along and take your testosterone shot, before your level drops so much you start feeling all lady like.
Next thing you know they’ll say you can’t smoke pot
in a national park... Hahahahahhah.
“No, I smoked my cigarette and an extra one just for her.”
No doubt unfiltered camels, being as how you are so manly and all.
very nice non-answer
“very nice non-answer”
You were doing such a good job of answering your own questions, I didn’t want to interfere.
If you didn’t want to interfere, why did you answer back?
“If you didnt want to interfere, why did you answer back?”
I was hoping to stop the whining.....

“The government obviously doesnt understand the difference between a cigarette and an e-cigarette.”
They simply don’t care about the difference. It is all about control. Sadly, I’m sure that this thread will contain some celebration posts.....
“I think you smokers have it backwards.”
Ahh, the twisting and turning of words to suit your convenient conservatism.
The problem is not any “rule” set by the property owner regarding tobacco use. The problem is that the government DICTATED what rules the owner of private property is to enforce.
That certainly IS tyranny and you WILL reap the rewards of supporting it as the homofascists use these tools to attack churches.
They are water vapor! This is just stupidity at its finest!
“That certainly IS tyranny and you WILL reap the rewards of supporting it as the homofascists use these tools to attack churches.”
Whoa....homofacists? it’s you smokers that have an oral fixation, not me! (/teasing)
Look, just because there is a rule against it doesn’t equate to tyranny. If you feel that strongly you should light up anyway, and make them kick you out - or make the non-smoking customers run you out.
There is no punishment otherwise. How is that tyranny?
“That certainly IS tyranny”
Another thing adding to the thought of the previous post - TAXES on tobacco products is what is tyranny - but smokers appear to be willing to pay it, so with no effective pushback, the taxes stand.
“Peer reviewed evidence, please.”
I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that one.(No pun intended)
