It is, but not the kind of inequality some might think. When people who try hard see that their efforts mean nothing, and that those who don’t try hard do as well or better, they become demotivated and demoralized. However, equality of outcome is guaranteed to no one! In point of fact, the desire to obtain such equality is the underpinning of Communism.
