Hillary Clinton will roll out her proposed changes to President Obama's Affordable Care Act on Tuesday, focusing lowering the cost of prescription drugs.
While the Democratic front-runner has long been a supporter of Obamacare, dating back to the 1990s, she has had her own, somewhat differing views on healthcare reform. Her plan, which she will introduce at a community forum in Iowa on Tuesday, will showcase some of those differences.
In the run-up to Clinton's healthcare event, her campaign has complained that "price gouging
in the specialty drug market is outrageous" and said that would soon lay out a plan to tackle it.

She remains exempt.
Hillary is making a hard left turn and Obama is probably pushing her that way while dangling her political life in his hand. She has no principles. She would allow this to happen if it mean a shot at the presidency. I expect she’ll be co-opting some of Sanders and Warrens stuff.
“”her campaign has complained that “price gouging in the specialty drug market is outrageous” and said that would soon lay out a plan to tackle it.””
With the unaffordable enormous deductibles and the enormous anual out-of-pocket costs and the extremely limited access to participating hospitals/doctors, she’s worried about the costs of the drugs? Well, I guess 1 out of 4 failures gives her something to talk about, right?!
Hillary!'s for the "little people", dontcha know?!
Hillarycare will do for our prescriptions what Obamacare did for our medical insurance. She’ll lower costs for the average family of four by another $2500, but if we like our current prescription coverage, we’ll be able to keep our current prescription coverage.
When these pharma guys looked at the ACA as a boon, they forgot one thing, once the monster was born, there was no stopping it. Now they will see the downside of this law as it ruins the entire bio tech industry. Why spend billions on bringing a drug to market while not being able to make money from the endeavor. No one talks about the failures and how much money is blown away on them and on defending the usual host of liability suits that always follow a new drug introduction.
Trying to fix the ACA is like trying to pick up a turd by the clean end.
Didn’t her inept efforts at managing national healthcare while “ First Lady” greatly increase the cost of vaccines? Her idea of managing healthcare is more and more government regulations
...and probably not give a hoot. They got their bonuses.
You are right. Country down the toilet. Crony socialists getting rich. They love it.
When you have over a 100 million dollars, you don’t even need health insurance.
how many wonder drugs have the Libtard democrats CREATED..?? how many DOES HILLARY CLINTOON USE..??? her favorite comes in a bottle...almost forgot..
how are drug companies supposed to offset the R+D and FDA bureaucratic red tape process....and pay the costs for the drugs that dont make it to market.. why is it the ussa is the last to get the new drugs..?? i dont hear the irs complaining about the taxes they get off drug company profits..
H pushes the free shizzle button and the parasite lap dogs and libtard media come out howling....
maybe things might be different if the scumbags in congress didnt accept cash from the drug companies... huh???
This should finish the job of sending Big Pharma off shore.
That is why I oppose Obamacare. Medical progress is great, but it will grind to a halt as the bloated FedGov determines the "acceptable" profit for innovation. Far too many brilliant researchers will choose another field, where they can profit from their discoveries. Socialism is both evil and harmful, and the "poor and minorities" they claim to care about will be the hardest hit as socialism creeps into more areas of our lives.
