Unfortunately, the “more blood” will include that of we Americans. That is one reason I no longer use the subway in DC - a prime target for mass murder. Police presence is almost nil (some you can’t see and that is how it should be). It only takes a few seconds to get into a major subway station, jump the ticket machines, and be on the crowded platform - pull the string and Boom, we are f**cking toast.
Hamas and Hezbollah can hire “suicide bombers” right here in the US who want to die for the glory of Allah, and some will get through our crappy defenses.
PS: My son patrolled a limited facility/sector of DC with a bomb-sniffing K9. He and the other K9’s were only a drop in the bucket of what is really needed to even remotely begin to secure DC from a major terrorist attack (despite good efforts by the FBI to conduct preemptive operations against lone wolf psychos and Islamic converts who want to prove their devotion to Allah and Islam).
I believe the same thing - only a matter of time. Actually surprised we haven’t seen dozens more independent acts than we have in the last few years.
I used to have an office in Fairfax on Rt. 50 just outside the beltway and sure am glad I’m not living/working up there anymore.....live between Richmond & Charlottesville now and glad of it.....
