Secretary of Labor in the Cruz administration would be a good spot for Walker. :-)
He would make a very good Secretary of Labor.

He CAN STRICTLY enforce E-VERIFY and they WILL leave on their own!!!! Businesses WILL NOT want to pay the stiff fines involved!!!! It may take awhile but they WILL return home!!!!

Yes, it did. That something was the first debate... In both debates, the moderators consistently cut him off and he did not push back, did not keep talking. He was, sadly, too polite...
Sadly, rude and brusque wins the day when it comes to the electorate: witness Obama, and witness Trump...

With 0%, I don’t think that will be a big factor.

First of all, he is too short to be President. The tallest guy always wins.

SIGH, I know.
Not only is CW a dear friend of mine, but I admire her immensely for her advocacy and for all the information she provides about her candidate. She always handles criticism graciously and you know all too well that she gets way too much flak and (I think) very little, if any, is merited.
I’m very sorry that Scott Walker didn’t catch fire, but I actually knew right away that this election wasn’t going to be his time... Too many candidates for the soft spoken Governor Walker who came in too late. Unfortunately his resume’ was one of the very best!
Oh well, this is the year of the outsider and I’m fine with that, given that Cruz is also considered an outsider and Jeb is NOT!
:)

I was kind of hoping he would make a comeback. He face tough situations in Wisconsin. While he wasn’t my first choice, he was much better than Graham, Rubio, Bush, and others. Did his decline start after he attacked D. Trump?
To: Helicondelta
Huh? Source? Never heard of these rumors. Rubio just picked up Walker’s NH cochair endorsement.
Again, I’m not a big fan of Senators for President but just the way I see it shaking out.

Trump and Carson killed the poor fellow. He had an impressive resume but for some reason went squish as a POTUS candidate.
He didn't have Trump's stash of cash, and didn't want to turn-off the Establishment types in order to get needed funding. He was actually being squishier in his rhetoric on most topics than he would govern. It usually goes the other way around.
Walker might have been one last chance to keep the Establishment and conservative factions together. It ain't happening. A divorce is coming, and it ain't gonna be pretty. God Bless Scott Walker. He's a good man.

James Madison was 5’4” tall.
Other short presidents were:
Presidents under five foot nine were:
Rutherford B. Hayes (five foot eight and a half)
William Henry Harrison
James K. Polk
Zachary Tyler
Ulysses S. Grant (five foot eight)
John Quincy Adams (five foot seven and a half)
John Adams
William McKinley (five foot seven)
Benjamin Harrison
Martin Van Buren (five foot six)
Therefore, Madison was the shortest president ever by two inches.

It wasn’t THAT long ago that most Republicans and conservatives were braying for a successful governor, someone with executive experience. With Perry and Walker out, and Jindal assigned to the kids’ card table, I guess it wasn’t that big a deal, or at least it isn’t any more. (Gilmore and Pataki don’t count).

Rubio is full of skeletons in his closet including marital infidelities, etc. If he ever rises to the top he wont stay there for very long.
Do tell. He’s a snake in the grass, and a cagey one at that. Maybe that’s why he’s so cagey, his bubble could be popped at any minute.

It’s going to be a LONG time before the GOP nominates a bland, polite man from Wisconsin for VP.
Been there, done that.
