I agree with the need to be aware of what the perverts are up to, my concern is that by providing ‘full and regular coverage’ of this topic, that it may actually encourage those twisted pukes.

I’m thinking limited and minimal excerpts if these articles are posted, but that is admittedly way above my pay grade.

I don't like this crap any more than you do FRiend. This one is an in-your-face example and people need to see how bold the perverts have become that they would even suggest this. Not so long ago, the writer would have been burned out of his home, whether he remained inside or not.

Now, that's a "hate crime". People need a slap in the face from time to time, and this gives FReepers and lurkers the link to deliver it to those who haven't consumed too much rainbow kool-aid.

I could not possibly disagree more. We need to see this stuff right from the mouths of those advocating it. The majority of America doesn't yet understand where the radical leftists want to take us, and pooh-poohs conservatives who warn what's coming. Seeing articles like this from mainstream media which are respected in liberal circles, not just from allegedly biased conservative publications, gives us the ammunition needed to prove our case.

If we have any hope left of turning our country around, it will center on giving articles like this the widest possible attention to wake Americans up before it's too late.

I understand the argument that highly offensive and explicit stuff doesn't belong in a “family publication” where unsuspecting readers, including children, might see it. However, Free Republic isn't designed for children. It is designed for conservative activists. We need to have access to these things, but at the same time, posting the headline and an excerpt, as MKJessup suggested, seems like a good compromise so people who don't want to see this kind of stuff don't have to see the gory details.

That is absolutely right, and it is why we need to see these articles for what they are — early warning signs of what's coming over the horizon.
