The Council on American-Islamic Relations, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2004 Holy Land Foundation terror-funding case, announced on Sunday the group will be calling on Dr. Ben Carson to drop out of the race for the Republican Party presidential nomination over Carsons statement he would not support having a Muslim as U.S. president.
Carson made his statement in an interview on NBCs Meet the Press on Sunday morning, explaining he does not believe the values of Islam are consistent with the Constitution of the United States. CAIR made the announcement in a press release (excerpted below) sent out Sunday afternoon on PR Newswire.
On Monday, September 21 (at 11 .am.), the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nations largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, will hold a news conference at its Capitol Hill headquarters to call on Republican candidate Ben Carson to withdraw from the presidential race for saying today that Islam is inconsistent with the Constitution and that a Muslim should not be elected president.
Lol, like telling chickens to go scratch dirt.
Carson’s reply - “Thanks, that’s B-E-N C-A-R-S-O-N”
I call on CAIR to withdraw from the USA.
P2 calls on (I don’t) CAIR to withdraw from the US of A and go hang out in Mecca.
OK, let's have a count of hands: how many other people actually care about anything CAIR says? Post your replies with a "Hand Up" or "No Hand" title, so we can count easily.
Well that proves dr carson’s point
Carson is 100% correct. That is not to say that a Muslim is not eligible to run for POTUS, because many Muslims are eligible to run.
But who wants to vote for a politician whose religious values are NOT consistent with the Constitution of the United States?
Carson said:
I dont agree to such a scenario. The President must be a man whose values reflect the laws of the country.
I dont suggest that a Muslim should be responsible for the people and I dont agree to this. The faith of the US President needs to be fit to American laws and a Muslim believer does not fit these.
What Ben Carson said is consistent with the obama administration. Nothing more needs to be said.
So why don't they hold a presser to explain to American how islam is compatible with our constitution or us?
I will be sending Dr. Carson money for his campaign with a note that it is BECAUSE of his stance that a “good” Muslim could not/would not defend the Constitution because their loyalties do not lie with America’s founding principles. I encourage anyone else who is so inclined to join me.
I wonder if the CAIR people have any allegiance at all to the FREEDOMS guaranteed in the U.S. Bill of Rights. I SERIOUSLY doubt it.
IronJack calls on CAIR to withdraw from America. And life.
A Republican issuing the EO’s Obama has been crapping would have been bearded the first month in his office by a convey of RINOs like McCain & Co. and told to resign or they would vote with the Democrats for impeachment.
We saw it happen in ‘74.
And the “arab” spring comes here
convey=covey=delegation of frightened Senate gop-e prairie chickens
I think CAIR should just withdraw from the US since they do not support the constitution. They want sharia law and are open about.....Any other religion espousing what they do would be called treasonous
I stand with Ben Carson.
Someday we will be forced to play cowboys and Muslims.
I care what CAIR thinks.
Anyone they support gets a NO vote from me.
Anyone they oppose.. I consider
(when, oh when, will subversive foreign agents and traitors on the IslamoNazi invasion and threat to our country, get tried and punished....or repatriated back to their various Krapistans?)
