If he meant to say Christian faith, why would he say that John McCain doesn’t talk about my Christian faith?
Why would McCain make an issue about a faith that most Americans follow? Obama said what he meant to say.

When he says his "Muslim faith" there, he means his presumed Muslim faith -- that is, the Muslim faith ascribed to him by some people but not by John McCain. The "presumed" is unspoken but pretty obvious from context.

It would make NO sense for McCain to make an issue of Christian faith, since all Presidents and most Americans ARE CHRISTIAN!!
