The remark about people coming in late... I've seen that, too. In my last school, the staff was very diverse, but when it came to showing up at meetings, at trainings, at WORK... it was always the same. First people there were whites, Asians, Armenians, Jews... then the Latino wave comes in... then Blacks trickle in.
I mean, it's not 100%. We had a black principal who was always there, right on point, very dedicated, and I liked him a lot. But the trends... the trends are what they are. Even Black folks joke about CPT (Colored People Time.)
