Reminds me of the old Barney Miller episode in which a college student builds a nuclear bomb as a course project and is brought in (along with the bomb) for questioning. A government scientist is brought in to inspect it and declares that it would indeed work, and must be confiscated and classified. The only thing missing? The plutonium!

This sounds like some Muslim chain-yanking. Let’s see what can we get away with, and if we don’t get away with it we can always yell “Islamophobia”!
