Do you remember the story that Obama said that the most beautiful sound in the world is the Muslim call to prayer?

I do indeed. I'd post a video of it if I could a find a short one. Not to be found on YouTube by me. Maybe someone else has one that they could post.

It wasn't a video; it was an article by Kristof in the NYT. Here is the quote:

Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”
