Frustrating, isn't it, to think we really have no say in the process after all. You'd think they might as well skip past the expensive campaigning and just nominate each party's candidate through committee, but then the political consultants and media would lose out on all that precious ad revenue.
It's all one big scam.

The ignorant outnumber the aware.
The proponents for expanding government outnumber the constitutionalists.
The forces of socialism and their lemmings are large. Not sure it really matters who the GOP standard bearer is. Whoever it is will be swimming upstream against a strong current.
