Cruz was to deferential with the moderator. He needed to be more assertive which cost him valuable talking time. I am guessing it’s because of his long law career and being trained to be deferential to the judge.

He was being sidelined, quite literally. The guy just doesn’t seem to have the presence. Also, yesterday’s debate was all about Trump but Cruz, being a good friend, just remained quiet. Not good.

I only saw the last hour, but Cruz was the only one who IGNORED the moderator for any length of time. On one occasion, he kept talking for about 20-25 seconds after the moderator told him his time was up.
