Sure they are giving themselves cover but by doing so they are leaving the Dems to swing alone on this.
I am not a fan of McConnell or the crying drunk in the House. I believe them to be pitifully weak and useless. They care only about themselves and maintaining their position of power.
If McConnell had a pair he would invoke the nuclear option and vote the Iran agreement down, forcing obumbler to veto it.
To which I ask, when have they taken any cover from Democrats or NOT GIVEN cover to democrats when it actually mattered?
