Jeb Bush might be changing his mind about his statement that he'd like to see former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on the $10 bill.
In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Bush instead said that he'd like to see the American people decide which woman deserves to be on U.S. currency, suggesting that a question about the bill during the second GOP presidential debate Wednesday night was not "the most relevant thing in the world."
"I want to put more 20 dollar bills in people's pockets," he added.
Bush said that he'd use the internet to solicit suggestions.

It was a goofy attempt at pandering to the right, and it looks even worse when you walk it back less than a day later.
Wish that someone had said "Lady Liberty". That'd have been nice, and there are plenty of precedents.
Leave our currency as it is!!!!
I’ve had it with all the feminazi and liberal B.S.!!!!
And I’ve had it with many too many e-mails from CARLY (always in all-caps) soliciting funds! Just stuff it, CARLY!!!!
I’m surprised he didn’t want Pancho Villa on the bill.
I wish he would “walk back” off a pier.
That’s hilarious.
+1
How abo8ut Lola Montez???
Bush has the right to marry whomever he wishes.
She may be a VERY nice woman.
However, he has had hundreds of nights of pillow talk & seems to have lost the idea that the USA should be protected from all the invaders coming from the south.

Translation: “My wetback amigos like to be paid under the table in CASH so it doesn’t count against their free government bennies.”
I have nothing against Thatcher, but she wasn’t an American.
Apparently he didn't think any American woman was worthy of the honor...
Betsy Ross, an AMERICAN hero (or someone like her) would be a better choice IMO
Perhaps the courageous Caitlen Jenner would be appropriate. Courageous trans people belong on currency!
What's next:
Tutankamón on the $5 bill?
Henry the Eighth on the $100 bill?
Klaus Nomi on the $2 bill?

I know a Mexican who owns a landscape company. He’s bough a mini-Mack truck, an brand new looking F-150, and a house in one of the nicer parts of town. I know he paid for the vehicles in cash; he told me so. I highly doubt he pays any taxes. None of his employees speak a lock,of English. Its a hell of a lot easier to make it when you get to keep what you would have spent on taxes.
If anything, get rid of the racist, Indian-hating Jackson on the twenty.
Good gracious Yeb — it was a stupid and pointless question in the first place.
Don’t stre4ss over how you answered it.
Obama on a 3 dollar bill
We see it ALL THE TIME around here.
Waddling Latinas at the grocery store who pay for their food items with their EBT card, then peel off Yeb’s “twenties” from a huge roll for the disallowed items. Then out the door to the late-model SUV, with five kids in brand new trendy clothes in tow, each playing games on his/her smartphone.
Frustrating and infuriating.
