Not sure why anybody would see Trump as some big winner last night...his performance last night was anemic at best. He just wasn't very impressive. He got blown off the stage by pretty much everybody except Huckabee.
When your debate performance is so flaccid that you manage to make Jeb Bush look animated and interesting, you probably should re-think your approach.
On second thought...maybe these internet polls are merely popularity contests that serve mostly to reflect an existing bias in favor of one candidate or another, on the part of those who choose to participate in and/or game them. ;-)

Yeah, you’re right. I hate that Trump’s debate skills aren’t as polished as the career politicians/paid speakers are.
If he’d just spend less time running multimillion dollar businesses and hone those debate skills, he’d be a real winner.....like ¡Jeb!
EVERYONE else on that stage can either phone it in to staffers, or their wives or hubbies....IOW they have day jobs that allow them to polish their speaking skills and/or refresh their botox.
I am amazed at how Trump can keep up the pace he’s going at.

Not sure why anybody would see Trump as some big winner last night He did not need to win to be the winner he just need to not lose and he didn't. He is clearly the winner only because all the others are losers.
For good or evil the people have rejected the career politicians and most here recognize that we have an opportunity to tear up the old line GOPe with little understanding of what will replace it. It seems a risk worth taking.
Few here would want to hear it but if you could put Cruz in Rubio's persona you would have a runaway candidate. Perception is more powerful than substance, sad but true.
