That was a good, thorough post. I hadn't realized Pepsico sold off Wilson Sporting Goods. The Frito-Lay division has been their most profitable for a long time. Back in high school we did a stock purchase project in Econ class, and I picked Pepsico because it owned Pizza Hut, my employer, at the time. The stock did very well for me. (other purchases were Bally, Cenvill Communities and Nestle [Zurich exchange]).
