You could fine-tooth comb this I suppose... that Trump tried to get the door OPEN to casinos in Florida — and because he couldn’t, he never tried to get a casino INTO Florida (which would have been a whole ‘nother mess of fish, it is possible that some other casino might have been allowed but not Trump’s). It wasn’t QUITE as coarse as “Hey, I have men ready to break ground right HERE for a casino, now give me the green light please.”
If we can look at the facts in a valid way that doesn’t damn somebody it probably is a good idea to do exactly that.

You missed the point - Bush said he was trying to buy him so he could open a casino. No wonder this country is in such dire straits - people really are jug headed.
