Sex with robots will be ‘the norm’ in 50 years, say experts. Men are considering the prospect with curiosity and a sense of humour. But academics and feminists are terrified and calling for them to be banned. Let me tell you why.
Who, or what, men have sex with is the basis of our civilisation. It is the driving force behind our greatest accomplishments. Men don’t compete for abstract pleasure: they compete to bag the best mate. The internet, the pyramids and the moon landings would not exist were it not for man’s desire to have sex with woman.

The reality is that most people do not meet someone they truly connect with. And often times settle for sex or money. Or simply having their clock run out.
I’d say having a sex robot and hanging with your male friends is better than marrying someone you don’t really like just for sex.
OF COURSE real love is better but that is RARE.

I can NOT stand to heart women (or for that matter men) do that in public- Joking around is one thing, but when the spouse gets nasty, deliberately running their spouse down- behind their back no less- I can’t stand it- When I hear people disrespecting their spouses, I will leave the room- There is just so much of that going on today- So much anger, and so much selfishness=

How true. We even had one here on FR a few years back that actually started a thread stating that she was no longer interested in sex and wanted advice from FReepers on how to convince her husband to accept her decision -but no divorce.
I forget her FReeper name. I put her in the twitfilter and after a couple of years when I upgraded to a faster computer I started a new twitfilter and had forgotten who she was. Dunno if the old bat is still posting or not.
We had somewhat the same thing at a place I used to work at some years ago. Some of us mates used to gather at an agreed establishment for drinks and dances. We would each contribute ten dollars into the Kitty (local fund) to be given to whoever danced with the least-attractive girl that night. Sometimes the amount would be quite noticeable if enough of us were there.
Met and danced with a lot of sheilas -and found out that quite a few of them had very attractive friends. *grin*
Fond memories, good times. A great lot of nice girls.
When I read he was a sodomist, I disregarded all the cr*p he’d written.
Count one here that has definitely stopped looking. Got burned by a two-faced temptress some years back and decided that was enough already. Moved into a little college town and life is much better nowadays. I start seeing someone, sometimes a college girl sometimes a bit older, and if it does not work out I just move on and no problems afterwards. If I feel the need, start seeing someone new and see how well it goes on. No demands, no pressures, no barristers necessary afterwards.
No worries.
Although I still may opt for a new Russian Bride, perhaps.:)

I won’t live to see sharia as the law of the land, but our kids will. Less than 50 years. Demographics are destiny.

Quite likely a population destroying overwhelming majority of men. Frankly the only thing that prevents it with, ahem, lower tech alternates is social approbation by other guys. Once the rubric is crossed with incredibly hot looking reproductions who specialize in making guys’ eyeballs roll back in their heads, you can lower the curtain and turn off the lights. It. Is. Over.
That’s also why I think its more like 10 years from now that this will happen. Once our overlords realize the potential, no expense will be spared to bring about the Bootilicious model 15.
