I don’t see how he can ever get out from under that vote. More damage to American sovereignty than anything DT has ever done in his life.
H1-B.
He’s for it. That’s it. Doesn’t get it.
Over 35 million legal permanent immigrants have entered this country. 87% of them are minorities as classified by the USG. Immigrants and minorities vote more than two to one Democrat. Mass immigration is killing conservatism. We are losing this country thru the ballot box. We have a surplus of labor. We don't need more foreign workers.
These labels are all meaningless. We have the Uniparty controlled by their corporate paymasters. Cruz is not much better than the rest. He gets his money from the Club from Growth and a rich, hedge fund operator. Do you think this impacts his decision to increase exponentially the number of H-1B visas, including lifting the country caps on India, China, and Mexico, and legalize the 12 to 30 illegal aliens.
This is all part of the game. Cruz voted for cloture and then voted against the bill. Just some more political charades to fool the uninformed. Cruz is a big free trader. He responds to his corporate paymasters.
BUMP!
Go Cruz go!
Amen!
Ronald Reagan was a Democrat before he became a Rep. Hillary was a Goldwater girl. The two parties have morphed into one. I want an outsider who can’t be bought by special interests.
Cruz has never said that he will legalize illegal immigrants. Ever.
LOL. I spent 36 years in the federal government. I have supervised more people than Cruz. And in most cases, these political appointees are figureheads who depend on the career personnel to run things. Not impressed.
Ping!
Here's a little history of your candidate:
1. Once called on 14.25 % luxury tax on the wealthy
2. on "Meet The Press" in 1999, Trump said he was "very pro-choice."
3. In Trump's book "The America We Deserve," he wrote that he "generally" opposed gun control but supported an assault weapons ban and a longer waiting period to purchase a firearm.
4.In an interview with Larry King in 1999, Trump said he was "very liberal when it comes to health care" and that he believes in "universal healthcare.".
5.Trump or his son donated to Clinton in 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007, he invited her to his 2005 wedding in Florida, where she sat front row, and he's donated at least $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. He also said in an appearance on the Howard Stern show in the mid-2000s that she was a fantastic senator.
6.In Trump's 2000 book "The America We Deserve," he called Jeb Bush "a good man," "bright, tough and principled," and "exactly the kind of political leader this country needs now and will very much need in the future."
I usually don't like to pull stuff from the slimeballs from the WP, but when I see Trumpets bad mouthing Cruz, it goes to far.
Care to address any of these?
Where Cruz gets his money.
I understand that TPP etc are nearly complete. if they come up for a vote during the primaries Cruz will have some explaining to do.
Again, you’re wrong. Cruz voted no on cloture.
That vote is why Cruz is in single digits. He can recover but not in this election cycle.
Au Contraire. Cruz Tries to Claim the Middle Ground on Immigration
Immigration-reform legislation from the Senates so-called Gang of Eight passed that chamber in June and includes a 13-year path to citizenship. Mr. Cruz pushed unsuccessfully for amendments that would have, among other things, eliminated the citizenship component.
Asked about what to do with the people here illegally, however, he stressed that he had never tried to undo the goal of allowing them to stay.
The amendment that I introduced removed the path to citizenship, but it did not change the underlying work permit from the Gang of Eight, he said during a recent visit to El Paso. Mr. Cruz also noted that he had not called for deportation or, as Mitt Romney famously advocated, self-deportation.
Mr. Cruz said recent polling indicated that people outside Washington support some reform, including legal status without citizenship. He said he was against naturalization because it rewarded lawbreakers and was unfair to legal immigrants. It also perpetuates illegal crossings, he added.
Besides barring citizenship while instituting some level of legalization for those here already, Mr. Cruz has proposed increasing the number of green cards awarded annually, to 1.35 million from 675,000. He also wants to eliminate the per-country limit that he said left applicants from countries like Mexico, China and India hamstrung when they tried to gain legal entry to this country.
