There was something about this woman that I couldn't put my finger one. I'm not sure it was outward evidence of this, but something came across I didn't care for.
Anyone admitting this should be disqualified from holding public office.

You're talking nonsense. "Thesis-Antithesis-Synthesis" are common buzzwords, like "id-ego-superego" or "a priori-a postiori." Using them doesn't make one a Hegelian, a Marxist, a Freudian or whatever.
Carly tried to appear deeper than she was by tossing Hegel's name and buzzwords. That doesn't mean she's seriously a follower of Hegel, let alone of Marx.
