So what you seem to be saying is that Trump = Hitler, but you think that the author shouldn’t have said it because it hurts the argument that Trump = Hitler?

He was not comparing Trump to Hitler, but to people’s ‘crazed’ enthusiasm to vote for charlatans, whether it be Hitler, Obama, Peron, etc. The whole article was about voters.
