In 49' when immigrants came here they were entirely on their own...there was no welfare system....they managed to create a life for themselves. They were not turned into overfed and overinduldged baby makers and leeches on Americans...
Nor did they insist on amnesty..they went thru the process for citizenship and were PROUD to do so...they didn't take to the streets and insult this nations peoples as these people do..ungrateful for the freedom they claim sought when it's nothing to do with freedom except freedom form responsibility for their own life..........
And regardless of where they came from, when they got here they wanted to become AMERICANS.
Of course, it was nice that they brought lasagna, bratwurst, gyros, and kung pao chicken with them, but they still became Americans first and foremost.
