Thus further degrading the value of a high school diploma. “In declining states the leadership intuitively chooses the most harmful course of action.”- F. Nietzsche
looks like kalifornia just devalued their high school degrees to zero.
That’s why major corporations have HR testing to weed out the imbeciles. We have an extra page called “spot the libtard” test too for ours before the background check.
Shouldn’t you add them? 10^-6?
This can be a precursor to what former SF Mayor willie brown suggested: guaranteeing college diplomas to all black students, period.
Well, it’s one way to reduce the explosion of student loan debt and eliminate the need to track attendance.
Can’t have tests. They oppress women and minorities (except asians)
When in doubt, Pick C
A diploma from California is now worth absolutely nothing.
Did the test. Finished it in less than 4 minutes, and scored 100%. 50 years old. Went to school in the days before common core, before every kid had an IPad, and when they probably spent 1/10th of the dollars they spend now.
“John had 2/3 servings..”
Just change the name to “obama” and oatmeal’ to “Sprite” or ‘KFC bucket”m and I am sure the homeys might make 10% of the test...
Shouldnt you add them? 10^-6?
Yes, you should add them -2 + -4 = -2
10^-2/10^-4 =
1 / 10^-2 =
10^2 = 100
Having suffered through 14 miserable months with my kids in a California school system, none of this shocks me.
My son’s 3rd grader teacher “taught” long division to the students by posting a problem on the “white board” (projectors that cost a fortune to put into every room). Then the students watched a video with fluffy kittens that were divided up among friends. THEN they sat in small groups and discussed the best way to solve the problem.
To make matters worse, after spending 1 week on long division, they “spiraled” (New Math BS term for bouncing around in the curriculum) to basic geometry. ONE WEEK on each topic.
The end result being that by the end of the third grade he did not know his multiplication tables, or how to do long division, or basic arithmetic, and the child who used to love doing math games hated school and cried everyday.
It’s no wonder that “A third of Cal-State freshmen ill-prepared for college-leve math, English.”

I am at loss as to what means.
Just remember this when they talk about “college for all”.
Thank goodness the test isn’t in cursive.
That way the kid who flunked out would have something to frame and put on the wall...and no one would be lying.
I know someone who has a Ph.D. in History ("Democratic Socialist" type of guy) who can't read his own diploma, because it is in Latin (from Princeton University).
No, you would do that if you were multiplying them. In stead, you subtract the exponent of the denominator from that of the numerator. Thus,10-2/10-4= 10-2 - (-4)10+2 = 100
