All of these people, and that is beginning to include a lot of Christians in name only, are blinded and without the ability to see or recognize the truth.
It’s amazing how they can ignore the fact that a book that is over two thousand years old is foretelling today’s events with stunning accuracy. This same book even foretells the rise of people just like them, who mock their Creator and those who worship Him. Their very deranged, unreasoning hatred should be proof to those tempted to doubt.
In addition, if the “hate” that they so love to point to in our beliefs really existed; we would be silently laughing behind our hands, knowing of the eternal punishment that awaits them if they continue in their present evil. Moreover, that is what Christians are constrained to do above all else. We are to tell the truth as we have been given it, preach the Gospel, no matter what threats or harm we must endure for doing so. If our message isn’t received, like the first disciples, we are to shake the dust off our feet and move on.
Many Christian ministries are totally abandoning the purpose for which they are ordained; to exhort and educate all people to repent and accept the free gift of salvation. Too many churches, in order to fill the pews, are preaching a feel good message to the world and totally ignoring their commission. Jesus told the disciples that friendship with the world is enmity with The Almighty and that no worldly concern, even if it’s related to family or friends, is more important than trying to save the unbeliever. According to most ministries of today, Hell is going to be empty. After all, none of our loved ones are going there. They’re good people. Neither are our friends.
Yes, if we really hated those people who hate us; we would be inwardly laughing every time they attack us and we certainly wouldn’t want them to know how to save themselves.
Christian haters are self loathers.
Well said.
