”It’s being called a ‘revolt’ by intelligence pros who are paid to give their honest assessment of the ISIS war—but are instead seeing their reports turned into happy talk.

More than 50 intelligence analysts working out of the U.S. military’s Central Command have formally complained that their reports on ISIS and al-Qaida’s branch in Syria were being inappropriately altered by senior officials, The Daily Beast has learned.

The complaints spurred the Pentagon’s inspector general to open an investigation into the alleged manipulation of intelligence. The fact that so many people complained suggests there are deep-rooted, systemic problems in how the U.S. military command charged with the war against the self-proclaimed Islamic State assesses intelligence. “The cancer was within the senior level of the intelligence command,” one defense official said.

This ‘revolt’ should have taken place about six years ago, when Obama started to telegraph every major move the military was about to make or consider. There still won’t be any impeachment or indictment of anyone.

Unless the Bill of Impeachment starts with the House Democrats it will never start.

Boehner will never bring a bill of impeachment to the floor any other way. Boehner was in the Senate when the Clinton Impeachment supposedly irreparably damaged the Republican majority. So he will not take the chance of damaging the Republican hold on power.

So, knowing as we do that the Democrats love power more than they do the Constitution; Obama will never be impeached.

Security analyst reports are used to make decisions.

If you desire decisions to be made a certain way you would alter the reports appropriately.

So if you want ISIS to have time to take a certain city in Iraq you would write the report underestimating their strength and progress in that area.

Given that some of these reports are read by congress and their staff, If you want Iran to have more time to build their nuclear weapon you would suggest in your report that their centrifuges are not as efficient as you truly believe them to be.

There is a vile trend of telling “what you think they want to hear,” rather than the truth that has permeated the entire system. Changing the narrative in a classified environment is exponentially easier than in the public arena. It is a very controlled environment, filled primarily with career bureaucrats looking out only for their self interest.

Many staff meetings have degenerated into “The Stepford Wives do Groundhog Day.” And always remember, omission is harder to prove.
