Did he give a reason other than that he’s a liberal ahole? I just reread the First Amendment a number of times while doing something else and I can’t find a reason for them not to remain there. In fact, I found the opposite. Okay, I’m biased because I’m an American and I really don’t enjoy watch the collapse of my country.
There is a silver lining to this; we no longer have to be reminded of our Christian roots that require us to give a damn (shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, etc.). I have found the last seven years to be very liberating in that while I’ve watched my country collapse & disappear, I’ve also gotten to watch some undesirables destroy themselves and each other at an accelerated rate. I’m doing as much for my country as the Bolshevik riff-raff who voted for Obama (though at least I am paying taxes).
Seems the OK AG is remiss in not researching history.
As TX Solicitor General, Ted Cruz argued before the SCOTUS to keep the 10 Commandments monument on the TX Capitol grounds. He won!
Doesn’t have anything to do with the First Amendment. It is a ruling by the Oklahoma Supreme Court based on the Oklahoma Constitution.
