The Federal Constitution as it stands now is a meaningless document not doing anyone any good. It will remain that way until our State alter the Constitution as to enable them to practically reclaim and thus decentralized federal power.

That must be the sole aim of a convention if nothing else is accomplished the State must acquire a tool to enforce the Federal Constitution as written directly. NOT thou federal employees who’s consent they can never rely upon.

The next time some “concon” clown engages in what Thomas Sowell refers to as Stage One thinking, i.e. such as the constitution isn't followed now, so what can amendments do, or an admonition to just enforce the constitution we have, remind them for instance that Taney's Dredd Scott decision was repealed via the 13th Amendment.

What if the states established a standing, annual convention every July? Had Scotus known that a standing Article V state convention was going to meet a few weeks after they issue their June dump of diktats, I guarantee their decisions would reflect the fact that a higher power was going to look over their shoulder and stand ready to recommend for instance that the states overturn Obergefell v. Hodges.

We do not have to accept judicial or executive tyranny. The solution is right under our noses.

It’s definitely safer because nothing will be accomplished. I can’t think of any of the major problems we face that could be fixed by an amendment that could be ratified by 38 states.

I did. I finally lost it completely at the "States will send serious men and women of character and judgment..." and realized that you were just imagining.

I’ll respond to your snark with snark and guess that you “lost it” long ago.

The solution you propose is unfortunately a very difficult one to implement, So difficult that it has never been done despite being attempted hundreds of times.

A standing convention is only more desirable than the presently lawless Washington in that its representatives will be appointed directly by the States who have a vested interest to govern themselves.

It is nonetheless every bit as dangerous as the currently lawless Government employees in Washington.

Unfortunately this process may take so long, that we may not have the power to implement it before we are overrun with foreigners and propaganda brainwashed children. We will require a backup plan in which we can save what is left of our people and culture in a new country capable of protecting our freedom from the onslaught of political their greed for the fruits of our labor.

This effort is complicated by the apparent economic draw of our relative success in the states we still control drawing in theses moronic and repressive leftist monsters and their self-destructive votes. Unfortunately our Governors will have to make this a political issue in an attempt to drive off some of theses ideologues while forcing the rest to think more seriously about the causes of their migration before casting their vote in a new home.
