But Trump has bashed Reagan in the past. He never discovered his love of Reagan until it was convenient. (i.e. he wanted to have a campaign) So, I haven't seen any evidence that isn't self serving that Trump likes Reagan, or even that he knows anything about Reagan.

But I see a lot of Trump supporters distorting Reagan's history.

Can you answer this: How many time did Reagan switch parties?

By the way, Hillary Clinton was a Republican and she became a Democrat. Trump did the same thing, so he could be compared to her just as much. Trump has switched parties many times. And he will again.

I don't hate Trump - I hate what he's doing. And I don't like how the media is covering up his past. We had an unvetted candidate in 2008, we don't need that again. Once Trump goes back to hid reality shows, I will ignore him.

You are saying no one can change which is not within your scope of knowledge. Maybe he is all the things you think but you are rabid. Just maybe he sees us all losing America and does not want that. Regardless he is separating conservatives and GOPe elitists. In my many years I have grown and changed many once held beliefs and believe anyone can also. Fear of losing the Nation I love and the last dark 7 years, makes me happy to hear someone talk of making America great again.
