A towering construction crane toppled over on Friday during a violent rainstorm in the Saudi city of Mecca, Islam's holiest site, crashing into the Grand Mosque and killing at least 107 people ahead of the start of the annual hajj pilgrimage later this month.

I was saddened when I heard this. I also saw a muslim man today standing on a corner trying to hand out a muslim monthly newspaper. I prayed for this man because when Jesus Christ is not one’s Lord and Saviour, the person ends up in hell. I pray that God will touch the hearts of those affected by the souls lost in Mecca.

So, how will the mad mullahs interpret this? Most certainly this is a sign. What do they tell their followers that can explain what has happened to them in such a holy place?

Allah must be unhappy about something, I wonder what it could be? What must/will their faithful do to make amends?
