Just another learning curve Punct - and some of my ancient software and aged hardware went to la la land. Stuff seems to change after every recent Windows update, sometimes for the better. The USB ports are my fault (I spilled sweet tea in ‘em when I’d had a bit too many pain meds lol) and they come and go.
I think that there is the option to uninstall Win10.
There is also juice in a spray can that may be able to clean up your usb ports.....with the computer powered down and given time to dry.
