The cop accused of body-slamming former tennis star James Blake during a mistaken arrest has a checkered past that includes five civilian complaints in just seven months and two excessive-force lawsuits. He has been stripped of his badge and gun.
The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association said his arrest of Mr. Blake “was made under fluid circumstances where the subject might have fled.”
The NYPD is just a collection of union thugs operating under color of authority and they have a “union mouthpiece” at the ready with a cock and bull story to gloss over any felonious behavior. Everyone keeps talking about the 99% of the cops who are "good guys." Good guys don't behave this way, and they don't need have a union mouthpiece try and get them out of the trouble they're in. As far as the 99% is concerned, I don't know what the real number is, but it's way lower than 99%. And if the cops don't ALL observe ALL the laws and the Constitutional protections, they are going to be cannon fodder at the end of the day because it isn't just the Black's who hate them.
