Yeah, but >>>so what?<<<
Since when does our government have to vote to prevent something from becoming law???
Much of the talk over this issue has sounded like the Iran deal is already done, and congress must somehow pass a law to stop it from being implemented.
So on who’s authority is this “deal” a done deal?
Mitch McConnell and the GOP establishment are playing political establishment games with the security and well being of this nation.
The Senate should simply have indicated that the deal is a Treaty and therefore must be ratified by 2/3rd of the senate.
The House should simply and emphatically state that the sanctions WILL NOT BE CANCELED. Those sanctions are a matter of US Law now, and the present cannot decide to make a deal and render them null and void.
Instead, we find the GOP Establishment helping the dems to flip the constitutional requirement on its ear and turn it into the exact opposite.
Here in 2016 we need to do the same thing to the Republican RINO establishment that we did to the Dems in 2010 and 2014...and route the vipers out of the halls of power.
Only when we replace these career politicians and all of their inside the beltway power games with Americans intent on doing what is right for this nation, will we be able to effectively take up and do the nations business.
They all need to be thrown out of office! And here is why:
If you start with a cage containing four monkeys, and inside the cage hang a banana on a string from the top, and then you place a set of stairs under the banana, before long a monkey will go to the stairs and climb toward the banana.
ALL the monkeys are sprayed with cold water. After a while, another monkey makes an attempt with same result As soon as he touches the stairs, you spray ALL the monkeys with cold water. Pretty soon, when another monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other monkeys will try to prevent it.
Now, put the cold water away. Remove one monkey from the cage and replace it with a new monkey. The new monkey sees the banana and attempts to climb the stairs. To his shock, ALL of the other monkeys beat the crap out of him. After another attempt and attack, he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs he will be assaulted.
Next, remove another of the original four monkeys, replacing it with a new monkey. The newcomer goes to the stairs and is attacked. The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment with enthusiasm because he is now part of the team.
Then, replace a third original monkey with a new monkey, followed by the fourth. Every time the newest monkey takes to the stairs, he is attacked.
Now, the monkeys that are beating him up have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs. Neither do they know why they are participating in the beating of the newest monkey.
Finally, having replaced all of the original monkeys, none of the remaining monkeys will have ever been sprayed with cold water. Nevertheless, not one of the monkeys will try to climb the stairway for the banana. Why, you ask? Because in their minds, that is the way it has always been!
This is how the House is and Senate operates today; and this is why, from time to time, ALL of the monkeys need to be REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME!
Disclaimer: This is meant as no disrespect to monkeys.
So who was the one Republican who did NOT vote against it? The person needs to be humiliated beyond belief!
RE: Nearly All House Republicans
OK, who are the GOP jerks that didn’t vote against the deal?
Nearly all? What are the names? Defenestrate them ... from the party.
Any way to find names of those who voted each way?
Now get them to vote Articles of Impeachment, bet you can’t.
Show votes are such fun.
When Iran goes nuclear next year it will finish off the Democratic Party.
