Watchdog opened ‘criminal’ Abedin probe, but DOJ passed

The State Department inspector general opened a “criminal investigation” of Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin in 2013 over allegations of “theft” — referring to overpayments she received and overtime she allegedly wrongfully billed. But the Justice Department declined to take up the issue, POLITICO has learned.

State’s watchdog in October 2013 escalated a preliminary inquiry regarding Abedin’s work compensation to a “criminal” probe, according to a copy of the notice the watchdog gave the FBI, which was obtained by POLITICO.

Can you imagine if President W Bush had a young attractive male assistant who even slept in his hotel rooms with him (to be there the moment he was needed! As Huma has said), and even hastily married and had baby with a Bush family hanger on, and of course had closest family members in high up positions in the Ku Klux Klan, and was found to perhaps be taking too much pay from the taxpayers??????

And the Justice Dept doesn’t pursue and the media doesn’t consider it newsworthy?????

No, you can’t. I was laughing at the thought, just writing out an equivalent right wing version of Huma. NO WAY NO HOW. There would be jokes about Bush’s Little Friend enough to have ten more network late night shows. The late night shows would stretch to 6 am with the jokes alone.
