The father of the three-year-old boy whose lifeless body washed up on a Turkish beach, rocking the whole world to its core, has been accused of being a people smuggler who captained the fateful voyage.
A woman, who claimed to have lost her two children on the vessel, made the stunning claims to Network Ten via her cousin who lives in Sydney on Friday night.
The image of Aylan Kurdis dead body was the catalyst for Australia to accept 12,000 Syrian refugees who are fleeing persecution in their homeland.
It was claimed last night that his father Abdullah was a people smuggler who captained the dodgy boat for its entire voyage, capsizing in heavy seas and killing at least 12 people.
Iraq-based Zainab Abbas, via her Sydney-based cousin Lara Tahseen, told Ten News she paid $10,000 for the voyage and Aylans father was in charge of the boat.
He was a smuggler, yes, he was the one driving the boat, she said.

He has been living in Turkey 3 years, I believe. They were not fleeing Syria.

Arrrrrrgh! Sad eyed puppy commercials work!
People just won't learn until their own children are lying in pools of blood in their own streets.
What is one dead kid for the jihad? A poster child!
“...rocking the whole world to its core,”
Sorry but to say that it rocked the world “to its core” is like saying Hillary Clinton feels responsible for the death of Ambassador Stevens.

Appeals to emotion work. It’s what drives advertising.
We can’t stop left wing propagandists, but we have to learn to combine emotional appeal with intellectual appeal.
Conservatives have won the intellectual battle. But liberals have won the emotional battle. We can win if we add the emotional component to our cause.
Kid didn’t wash up on the beach.
Someone put him there.

I have trained as recovery diver. Although I have never had to personally recover a body I have seen a lot of photos. They never look that good.
Yep. I knew that right away when I saw the picture.
Will America ever get it's head out of it's arse?
....tune in at eleven to find out.
...better yet...don't.
Sorry, not so much.
Watching the second plane go into the towers, rocked my world.
You can see lots of dead ISIS children victims on the internet.
There they go again...the media tries to suggest something is true that isn’t because it’s what THEY believe the truth SHOULD be. That’s not journalism, it’s an abuse of the power of suggestion.
Cheap tricks in the cause of freedom...>sigh<
Pity it has come to that.
You may be right. Most things I have seen that washed up on the beach were partially embedded in the sand, not sitting on top of it.
Green Helmet Guy?
Taqyiah meets western morbid altruism.
Todays Western mind...abort your own, embrace “the other”.
