President Barack Obama has ordered his administration to "scale up" the number of Syrian refugees admitted to the United States in the coming year, directing his team to prepare for at least 10,000 in the next fiscal year, the White House said Thursday.

I live in California and have not recognized the country for a very long time. I have found an island in the almost middle of nowhere and am currently trying to talk Hubby into leaving. It’s not going to get better. I don’t think the presidential choice will make a difference. We are over the tipping point. I don’t see it coming back.

Texas students are now 52% Hispanic, 29% White, 13% Black. Sad I can’t speak the language of my own state anymore. There’s been a dramatic uptick in the past 10 years and it keeps rising. There has been a concerted effort to change Texas to blue and it’s working. With an open border, we don’t know what’s coming across.
