A would-be victim turned the tables on an armed robber in Chester, shooting and killing him, police said.
The unidentified man was getting out of his vehicle on the 500 block of West Seventh Street around 1 a.m. Wednesday when he was approached by two robbers, police said. When one of the robbers pulled out a gun and fired two shots, the man pulled out his own weapon and returned fire, according to investigators.
It was loud and it sounded like it was real close, said Kyle Roane, a neighbor of the victim who heard the gunshots.

But the libs tell us that guns don’t save lives, well this time it saved the life of the would be victim and who knows how many future victims when the attacker was killed.
It DOES have a tendency to sound like it's right beside you
Somebody needs to go to Headline Writing School.
Good. This is what the libs don’t want to happen. They want the ‘oppressed’ underclass to waltz in and take whatever they want because it’s ‘rightfully’ theirs.
Will they charge the homeowner with a hate crime?
I love a story with a happy ending.
Good shooting, Citizen. Civilization thanks you.
That’s exactly my hiking / riding in the woods gun. 240 gr JHP loads.
Presenting facts in a case like this is only possible with local newscasts (sometimes):
The black interviewees were all OK with the self-defense incident using a firearm.
The national media will/would ignore this fact or twist it to make the guns the problem in the first place. Seen this kind of twist done many times.
BOOOOMMMM !
Very cool!
Good news. Now the Gibsmedat can’t du nuffin.
My hometown, I grew up on the 300 block of East 7th St. How times have changed for the worst. The shooting took place, near the High School.
Chester is a War Zone now!
Plus monster muzzle flash if you use 2400 for your reloads. Figure if I don’t hit en I’ll scare em.
