LOL

Just turned on the TV for the overnight headlines on CNN.

TOPIC: Trump counterpunches regarding Carson’s comment about Trump’s lack of humility.

Trump is responding with both barrels.

CNN commentators are raising Carson to the level of the Pope regarding his religiousness.

Part of Trump’s response regarded his previous views on abortion, etc.

If that were true, Romney would be in the Oval Office. At least a half-dozen major commentators/pollsters were claiming he would win in a landslide -- and that was the night of the election. They were definitely wrong in 2012. Recall Rove on FoxNews storming down to the control room because he just KNEW they were wrong in calling some state for Obama.

In 2004, the talkshow hosts were deflated and the media hosts elated in the late afternoon because the exit polls were showing Kerry in a landslide. But, when the polls closed and the real numbers were coming in, it was close, no landslide, and no President Kerry.

I think that both of you are correct; polls are inflated somewhat AND Dr. Carson is an available parking space.

Carson is not going to be any savvier running against the Democrat. He’s a political neophyte without any real instincts or feel for the process.

No, Tom. Don't mistake "commentators" for pollsters. You're thinking of Rove and Stephen Moore and Dickie Morris and a couple of others. GO TO REAL CLEAR POLITICS and look at the polls and the averages. I don't think Romney EVER led.

In 2004, I was very active in the GOP and watched polls relentlessly. They were pretty close. If Kerry was ever up, it was a point, and if Bush was up, it was a point. You WILL recall, right, that this election came down to a mere 114,000 votes in OH?? I'd call that a pretty good polling record.

No, in national presidential elections, the polls are pretty close. It would be one thing if they all had Carson and Trump within a point of each other. But you have one---ONE---outlier poll that has Carson tied, and 20 that have him 8-10-15 points down. Carson is not polling equal to Trump, anywhere.

They also hold some weird teachings from some woman - I think her last name was White.

"Weird" is not a strong enough word. Ellen G. White - as big a scammer as Joseph Smith (Mormon)

Killing babies because you don’t like the way they were conceived is not pro-life, it is pro-abortion. A baby has no say in the way they come into this world. You want to kill someone in a rape, kill the rapist. The child has done nothing to deserve to die!!
Now why is that so hard for you to understand?
